Honoring the mavericks, dreamers and innovators "changing your mind", The WIRED Rave award recognizes leaders in a wide range of categories including technology, business, music, industrial design and blogs.

Past winners include such noteables as David Byrne, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Peter Jackson, Spike Jonze, Steve Jobs, Howard Stern, Cameron Sinclair and Kate Stohr, The Flaming Lips, and Clap Your Hands and Say Yeah.

Recipients of the eighth annual Rave Awards will be announced in the May issue of WIRED Magazine, on newsstands April 24, 2007 and on wired.com the same day. Winners will be celebrated at the St. Regis Hotel in San Francisco on April 27, 2007.
